Day 01: ARRIVAL / LEH
On arrival, Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to Hotel. Time free to acclimatize till 4 O’clock. PM walk upto Samker Gompa. Samker Gompa is little up in the valley, 3 Kms from Leh Town, which is open to visitors in the morning and evening only. The Gompa belongs to Yellow Sect & was founded in 18th Century. The Gompa is the seat of the Head Lama of Ladakh & founder of yellow sect, Tson-Kha-Pa. The temple walls have recent painted of figures including Sakyamuni, Avalokiteshwara, Padmasambhava, Tson-Ka-pa and green Tara. Overnight & dinner in Leh Hotel.
Day 02: LEH S/S (SHEY/ TIKSHEY/ HEMIS)
Full day visiting Shey, Thiksey & Stok Palace. After breakfast, proceed to Shey – it was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to Shey – the seat of Ladakh’s heartland – is attested by the enormous number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace complex and barren plain to the north of the road. Thiksey – is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two – storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder. proceed to Hemis – which
is dedicated to Padmasambhava, what a visitor can observes a series of scenes in which the lamas, robed in gowns of rich, brightly coloured brocade and sporting masks sometimes bizarrely hideous, parade in solemn dance and mime around the huge flag pole in the center of the courtyard to the plaintive melody of the Shawn. The moan of the eleven feet horns, the boom of drums and the clash of Cymbals. Hemis was found in the 1630’s by Tsang-ras-pa under the royal patronage of Singe Namgyal, Hemis is the largest and richest of the Ladakh Gompas. It nestles into the mountain side a little way up a glen in the mountains of Zanskar range. Overnight & dinner in Leh.
Day 03: LEH – HUNDER NUBRA
Breakfast at the hotel. Early Morning Leave Leh for trip to NUBRA VALLEY passing thru Horzey & Gangles Village. The road then rises to reach Khardungla (5602 Mts.) the world’s highest Motor able road & enjoy the landscape & the beautiful birds eye view of the Leh town. Halt for a break at Khardongla village + Another 35 Kms drive takes to Khalsar at Shyok Valley, where the scenery is all around. The road after crossng Khalsar Bridge at Shyok River enters Nubra Valley & then proceed along the Nubra River to arrive in Nubra.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 04: NUBRA – LEH
Breakfast at the Camp. Drive back the same route for Leh. On arrival in Leh, check in at the Hotel Leh Afternoon Free to explore surroundings of Leh Overnight & dinner in Leh Hotel.
Day 05: LEH PANGONG
Leave early morning after breakfast leave for Pangong. Lake through Changla passes 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for break at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it’s running the other side of the “INDO CHINA BORDER”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Overnight & dinner in Camp.
Day 06: PANGONG – LEH
Breakfast at the Camp. Drive back the same route for Leh. On arrival in Leh, check in at the Hotel Leh Afternoon Free to explore surroundings of Leh Overnight & dinner in Leh Hotel.
Day 07: LEH SHAM VALLEY LEH
After breakfast you proceed visit the ALCHI GOMPA. The complex of temples located within the village is the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries and dates back to the 11th century. After Alchi you proceed to BASGO,+ MAGNETIC HILLS + PATHAR SAHAB + ALCHI which lies astride the road to Leh. The jagged skyline of the ruins of the 15th century capital of Ladakh dominates the village of Basgo. It was an important center in the old days, having been the capital of lower Ladakh when the kingdom was divided in the 15th & 16th centuries, and the seat of that branch of the dynasty, which eventually unified Ladakh and took the surname Namgyal. Overnight & dinner in Leh Hotel.
Day 08: LEH / DEPARTURE
Early morning Breakfast In time transfer to Leh Airport to connect the flight for Delhi.

Please be informed that commercial & private vehicle are not allowed to do entire movement (sightseeing coverage of internal areas) in Sonamarg, Gulmarg & Pahalgam due to local union restriction at these particular places. Travelers coming/Going by Road via Jammu – Srinagar National highway. Keep this noted that sometime due to bad weather, Traffic rules, Govt Orders The road gets closed due to landslides or we have One Way traffic due to traffic rules, Govt orders. Travelers coming on these days have to understand the situation & Adjust in the given alternate accommodations at perspective places. Whole tour plan can be shuffled due to road closer but we will try to make most of the tour to be completed as per itinerary.
